EkoNiva-Chernozemye has presented John Deere, JCB, Vaderstad and Gregoire Besson machinery. The John Deere 6195M tractor was one of the novelties showcased at the event. The 6th series flagship model with the PowerTech (195 hp) engine is equipped with the TLS independent suspension, which automatically adjusts the sensitivity of the suspension rate to the actual axle load, ensures optimal traction and a 7% higher towing capacity compared with the machines with a rigid axle.

Vaderstad soil cultivation machinery also enjoyed a great deal of attention from the farmers at the exhibition.

‘The Vaderstad Tempo L planter is a revolutionary model in cultivating arable crops,’ says Roman Logunov, EkoNiva-Chernozemye Manager. ‘The PowerShoot technology uses air pressure to push the seeds into the ground at a speed of 17 m/s and carefully fixes them with the closing wheel.’

The machine can plant maize, sunflower, beet and soya at a speed of up to 20 km/h with the efficiency of 97-99%.

EkoNiva-Semena presented the European achievements in winter and spring wheat, soya, peas, oats and lentils seed breeding. For the first time, the two varieties of the company’s own breeding well adapted to the climate conditions of the region – Sheratan and Cepheus – were on display in the company’s booth.

‘I have enjoyed the Field Day and the EkoNiva-Chernozemye’s booth. We have had a successful business partnership with the company,’ says Roman Glazkov, Pobeda LLC Director (Ternovka district). ‘We farm 4,500 hectares of land and we are engaged in livestock farming and crop production. Reliable and efficient machinery, such as the 8th and 6th series John Deere tractors, the John Deere deep tiller and the Vaderstad planter always come in handy.’

A tasting session was arranged as part of the event to try the fresh EKONIVA products – milk, kefir, baked fermented milk, sour cream, curd, yoghurts with natural fruit and berry flavours as well as bio yoghurts and ice-cream.
