The John Deere 6195M tractor, the John Deere 8300 self-propelled forage harvester, the JCB 434S front loader, the JCB 536-70 AGRI SUPER telehandler, the JCB 155 Power Boom skid steer loader and the Haybuster 2564 were presented during Field Day.

‘Field Day is a major event for farmers of Vladimir oblast’, says Denis Povalikhin, Head of Northeastern branch of EkoNiva-Tekhnika. ‘This is not just an ordinary exhibition where we showcase the global innovations in machinery. This is a perfect opportunity to get familiar with our customers, share our experience with them, hear their feedback.’

Vladimir Sipyagin, Governor of Vladimir oblast, Evgeniya Rodionova, Head of the Regional Administration and Anatoliy Monastyrskiy, Managing Director of Shikhobalovo JSC, participated in the festive opening of the exhibition which was organised on the premises of Shikhobalovo.

'We have been cooperating with EkoNiva for 15 years’, relates Anatoliy Monastyrskiy, Director of Shikhobalovo. ‘Our enterprise is engaged in dairy farming and we keep over 7,000 head of cattle. We need reliable and robust machinery in our operation. EkoNiva is always there to help us make the right choice. There are a couple of John Deere 8295R tractors in our operation, recently we have also purchased a JCB 434S front loader. Currently we are considering buying one more unit for silage compaction.’

There are two John Deere 7350 combines, one John Deere 8300 forager and three JCB front loaders in Gavrilovskoye farming enterprise.

‘The machinery supplied by EkoNiva is very nice though expensive’, shares Sergey Pankratov, Chairman of Gavrilovskoye farming enterprise. ‘The JCB 541-70 telehandler can work well paired with implements like buckets and forks, it has a perfect operating capacity as well. The JCB 434S front loader is distinguished by its power, it is used for when preparing haylage and silage.’

Not only men are interested in reliable agricultural machinery. Natalya Yershova, a successful businesswoman, prefers to avoid risks, that is why she chooses machinery of EkoNiva.

‘We have several machinery units supplied by EkoNiva to our enterprise, namely John Deere 6135В, 6130D, 7830, 8430 tractors and the John Deere 7380 forage harvester’, says Natalya Yershova, Director of the Farm named after Lenin, CJSC. 'Today, the John Deere 8300 forager got us intrigued. We are planning to purchase it next year.’

The Farm named after Lenin occupies the territory of 5,400 hectares. The overall cattle number is 5,000 head, while the milking herd amounts to 1,900 head. Milk yield reaches 60 tonnes per day. They are also intensively developing crop farming.

Unexpected rain during Field Day did not hinder the business programme. Vladimir Sipyagin, Governor of Vladimir oblast, paid attention to each booth. He also talked to (the) representatives of EkoNiva-Tekhnika and wished them success. Vladimir Sipyagin highlighted, that over the past 5 years the volume of agricultural production has risen by more than 20 percent. Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, called the results ‘a breakthrough’.
