Invaluable experience of JCB training

Technical specialists of EkoNiva have participated in a JCB training in the city of Yessentuki. The highly topical training programme included both theory and practice, from the overview of JCB brand history to examining different wheel loader models, problem-solving cases studies and driving vehicles. The participants had to visit six thematic sites inside the training zone. Some of them showcased different JCB machines, namely, skid steer loaders (JCB 150, JCB 270), telehandlers (JCB 531-70, JCB 541-70 Agri Pro) and wheel loaders (JCB 434S, 426).  The other two sites presented the competitive advantages of JCB machinery and JCB Finance programme. Finally, the trainees had a possibility to take samples and appreciate the quality of the silage which had been made on a separate site. High grade of the final product is one of the main factors influencing the farmers’ choice of machinery.

'One of our focus machines was JCB 541-70 Agri Pro', says Artyom Konoplyov, EkoNiva-Technika Sales Representative of Kaluga branch. ' It is a top model which combines the most recent innovations designed by JCB engineers. The machine is indispensable for the enterprises which aim at managing their expenses efficiently, want to save fuel and operating hours.’

One of the model's distinctive features is the new hybrid transmission DualTech VT combining the benefits of a hydrostatic and a PowerShift transmission. The hydrostatic drive module ensures great manoeuvrability at speeds up to 19 kph,       while JCB PowerShift secures high efficiency and  makes the most of available torque to deliver quick acceleration and strong towing ability  to a true 40kph speed.

'The training has become an invaluable experience for me', shares Ivan Bolokhontsev, EkoNiva-Tekhnika Sales Department Manager of Kirov branch. ' 'It is important that the training programme includes skills practice assignments.  For example, trainees had an opportunity to make S-turns between the straw bales driving a compact loader and see the advantages of JCB Smooth Ride System, which makes the machine highly manoeuvrable.’

The participants carried out a number of other tasks operating compact loaders and telehandlers. They honed their skills at switching between implements and loading sand with the bucket of a telehandler.

'We have practised a lot, got to know the machines better, which is beneficial for our work', says Mikhail Kiryakov, EkoNiva-Chernozemye Sales Representative. At the end of the training, we successfully passed the tests. We have definitely learnt a lot of new things!’
