EkoNiva’s new premises in Ryazan oblast are fully equipped for servicing machines of any complexity.  The service centre comprises four repair shops for large size machinery and three – for trailed implements, a large show room, and a conference hall. The spare parts storage facility with a unique mezzanine and shelving storage system deserved special praise.  Over 20,000 items can be stored here simultaneously.

The new service centre opened in the year of EkoNiva’s 20th anniversary. The company did its best to make this day unforgettable. The guests received a good portion of positive emotions at the Olympic stadium, where they took part in sports competitions, and then they restored their energy at the Dairy Kitchen of the Academy of Dairy Sciences.

On that day, the clients congratulated EkoNiva both on the opening and on the 20th anniversary.

‘I congratulate all agricultural producers on EkoNiva’s jubilee,’ says Dmitry Sazonov, Director General of Novopanskoe farm. ‘We haven’t seen anything better in terms of service for the past 10 years! Moreover, the new service centre is a step ten years ahead! It’s a great support for agricultural producers in their growth and development.’

Stefan Duerr, President of EkoNiva, holding a symbolic key to the new service centre in his hand, noted that the current situation in the world is a perfect opportunity for rapid development of Russian agricultural producers.  We must make the most of it by working 100% or even 200%.

‘I hope that this service centre will enhance the growth of agricultural production both in this region and in the whole of Russia’, he remarked.

A machinery demonstration show with the participation of time-tested standard-bearers of the fields and the brand new hits of the season was organised for the guests. The company presented the premiere item of 2014  - the John Deere 6th series tractor line with a capacity ranging from 110 to 150 hp. The standard-bearers were represented by the John Deere 8310 RT track tractor (310 hp) coupled with the 8-meter Rapid 800 Jumbo.  The 8 series tractors are the sales leaders both in Russia and all over the world. The viewers were literally mesmerized by the power of the giant John Deere 9460 R tractor (460 hp) coupled with one of the widest John Deere air drills, the 1830  (10.36 m).

‘We realise how important the capacity and the non-stop operation of our machines are for producers,’ says Felix Frie, Financial Director of the Russian subsidiary of John Deere. ‘The opening of another service centre is the best guarantee of continuous operation and high capacity of the John Deere machines all of which means undoubted return on your investments!’

A quartet of JCB loaders presented a true dance show. The speed and manoeuvrability of the 531-70 loaders and JCB 260T skid steer loaders made the viewers forget that the machines were controlled by operators.

The agricultural machinery auction became one of the most picturesque events. Unprecedentedly low prices were set specifically for the holiday.  One of the lots – a  John Deere 6095 B tractor was sent to the Zelenogradskoe farm (Moscow oblast), and a JCB 260T skid steer was sold to the old partner of the company – SPK Vyshgorodsky. Nikolay Mitrokhin, head of the farm, thanked EkoNiva on behalf of all agricultural producers of the region for high-class servicing and high-capacity machines.

‘These machines allow us not only to work around the clock, but also make quite good money,’ Nikolay Mitrokhin pointed out.
